Visconti Homo Sapiens Fountain Pen - Crystal Dream (14K)

The Visconti Homo Sapiens Crystal Dream combines the unmistakable character of the original Homo Sapiens with a striking demonstrator design and Visconti’s advanced Double Reservoir Power Filler. Crafted from hardened basaltic lava sourced from Mount Etna in Italy, the Crystal Dream offers the distinctive warmth, durability, and natural hygroscopic qualities that have made the Homo Sapiens an iconic Visconti collection.

The most distinctive feature is its oversized crystal acrylic ink window. A section of the lava body has been replaced with transparent crystal acrylic resin, providing a clear view of the ink inside the pen as well as the unique double-reservoir filling system. A crystal acrylic ring around the grip section reveals the second, smaller reservoir, adding another element of transparency to the design.

The patented Double Reservoir Power Filler is an advanced vacuum filling system designed for both high ink capacity and improved ink control. The two-reservoir system allows the pen to hold the equivalent of approximately 10 standard ink cartridges while helping prevent ink leakage during air travel.

The pen retains the original Homo Sapiens’ signature solid bronze trim and features Visconti’s patented Hook Safe Lock, which securely seals the cap and helps prevent accidental unscrewing. The titanium filling mechanism provides excellent resistance to ink corrosion, while the rose gold-plated 14k gold nib complements the warm tones of the bronze trim.
