Switchman Pen Company Bottled Ink (35ml) - The Ghost Train: Moss Black

Switchman’s Moss Black was inspired by the places ghost trains leave behind. It looks black at first glance, until a green-gray shows at the edges, like moss on Mangotsfield’s old platforms, where trees now stand where the canopy columns once rose, or on the swamp ground at Maco where the tracks were pulled up long ago. Write with it on a long October night, keep a lantern lit, and listen for the train you can hear but never quite see. And if the clock seems to have slipped a few minutes behind when you look up, you’ll know the train has passed.

Switchman inks prioritize dry speed over permanence and will dry rapidly even when used in very wet pens. They will resist feathering on highly absorbent papers (printer paper, for example) and are tuned to minimize dry-in while still within pens. Switchman inks shade beautifully and many boast color variation the more thickly they are applied.

As a special note from Switchman Co.: "We recommend that you use the broadest and wettest pens you can find to bring out the stunning range this ink is capable of. You won't regret it!"
